Join us for a wonderful stroll though Orokonui Ecosanctuary to learn about New Zealand's native and endangered flora and fauna, then take in all the highlights of beautiful Dunedin City
Departing promptly in the morning we will head straight up to Orokonui Ecosanctuary. An easy to moderate walk of approximately 2hrs on formed tracks allows us to see and experience native New Zealand. Highlights will include the chance to see Takahe, Kaka, Tui, Bellbirds, Kereru and Fantails all the while supporting the maintenance of this predator-free habitat.
Following a tasty cup of coffee we will begin our scenic return to Dunedin City with panoramic views of the Otago Peninsula and Harbour.
Once in the city learn about the history of Dunedin, the early settlers and the gold rush that bought so much wealth to the area.
