Industry Participant Registration Now Open
Overview
Ōtepoti Dunedin is full of incredible places to eat, shop and explore. When industry staff feel informed and connected, they can confidently share the city’s stories with visitors. The Discover Dunedin Pass invites retail, hospitality, and tourism workers to experience local attractions first-hand, build genuine connections, and deepen the knowledge they need to showcase the best of our city.
Who is Eligible?
The Discover Dunedin Pass is open to people working in Ōtepoti Dunedin’s food and drink, retail, and tourism sectors – those who bring the city to life every day. This includes individuals working in restaurants and cafés; food producers, makers, farmers, and growers; retailers; tourism experiences and attractions; tourism-related services such as transport and accommodation providers.
To be eligible, participants must be:
- Working or volunteering at least 20 hours per week, or
- approved to participate at the discretion of their manager.
How Does it Work?

From 1 May | Activate | Visit Ōtepoti Dunedin isite Visitor Centre at 50 the Octagon to receive and activate your Pass with photo ID. |
1 May – 31 Aug | Explore | Participate in famil offers at your own pace |
Sep | Prize Draw | Collect stamps as you explore — the more places you visit, the more chances you have to redeem rewards and win incentives. Passport to be returned by 13 Sept 2026. |

Be in to Win!
Redeem prizes or enter the draw by bringing your stamped Passport and photo ID to the Dunedin isite (50 The Octagon) once you reach the qualifying stamps. Submit your Pass by Sun 13 September 2026 to be included in the prize draws. Winners will be contacted using their registration details.
