Accommodation Data Programme (ADP)
The Accommodation Data Programme (ADP) is a 'by industry for industry' research programme providing information about short-term accommodation activity at national, regional, and council levels. It estimates the guest nights, occupancy rates and other measures relating to the accommodation industry.
International Visitor Arrivals (IVA)
International Visitor Arrivals to New Zealand (IVA) is a monthly report produced by Statistics New Zealand and sponsored by Tourism New Zealand. The report contains detailed tables and graphs of monthly and annual data, showing the number and characteristics of visitor arrivals. Visitor arrivals are defined as overseas residents arriving in New Zealand for a stay of less than 12 months.

Tourism Electronic Card Transactions (TECT)
The TECTS represent part of total tourism spend as they are based almost exclusively on physical electronic card transactions, and do not include any other form of spending such as cash, pre-purchases or online spend.
Tourism Industry Aotearoa - Domestic Satisfaction Report
TIA’s Domestic Satisfaction Report series was commissioned to monitor domestic travellers’ perceptions of their travel within New Zealand as a tracking mechanism for the Tourism Sustainability Commitment. The TSC uses international and domestic satisfaction as a key sustainability indicator.

Tourism Industry Aotearoa Mood of the Nation
‘Mood of the Nation’ research commissioned by TIA and Tourism New Zealand measured New Zealanders’ perceptions of tourism. The survey is conducted twice a year, with over 1000 New Zealanders interviewed across the two surveys.
