The Wild Dunedin Festival Spring Edition will roll out a jam-packed weekend of family activities, fun and edutainment for everyone from 8-10 October (spring school holidays), including including special deals on Dunedin visitor attractions and tours. Check out the programme here.

A vibrant celebration of Polynesian and Maori song, dance and performance from children and youth from across Otago and Southland. The 28th Otago Polyfest will take place from Monday 18 October - Friday 22 October culminating week with the Te Moananui a Kiwa community concert.
Forsyth Barr Stadium
Now in it's ninth year, the the Dunedin Craft Beer and Food Festival has become an annual pilgrimage for many, who come to sample the delicious craft brews, gins, ciders and other tasty tipples from the region and across New Zealand.
Under the roof at the spacious Forsyth Barr Stadium, the festival runs over two days of non-stop entertainment, tastings and delicious local food. One for the connoisseurs and the casual enthusiast alike.
The whole city comes to the party with pop-up events in the days leading up to festival and there's plenty to do while you're here.

The Dunedin Marathon is growing in popularity year on year, with thousands coming to compete and run the picturesque course alongside the shimmering waters of the Otago Harbour.
There are options for serious contenders with the full and half marathon or entry level courses of 10k and 5k for those that just want to have a go at either running or walking.
