Dunedin Craft Beer & Food Festival

3-4 December

Forsyth Barr Stadium

Now in it's ninth year, the the Dunedin Craft Beer and Food Festival has become an annual pilgrimage for many, who come to sample the delicious craft brews, gins, ciders and other tasty tipples from the region and across New Zealand.

Under the roof at the spacious Forsyth Barr Stadium, the festival runs over two days of non-stop entertainment, tastings and delicious local food. One for the connoisseurs and the casual enthusiast alike.

The whole city comes to the party with  pop-up events in the days leading up to festival and there's plenty to do while you're here.

Tickets sell like hotcakes, so head on over to the ticketing site to snap them up - Saturday's almost sold out but Friday still has a few left.

A bit like Belgium, beer is a part of the city fabric.  We're home to more than a few breweries including New Zealand's historic home of beer, Speight's. To make the most of the experience, we've put together the ultimate Dunedin as Belgium itinerary that takes in all it's hoppy highlights and then some.

To help recover from the fest, we've put together the ultimate #dunnerstunner detox itinerary of things to do, see and eat in the aftermath.
