Curious about Otago Museum’s planetarium? This school holidays, your ticket to Tūhura Otago Community Trust Science Centre will also include free admission to a planetarium show, so you can check it out!

Explore the wonders of outer space with one of our Science Communicators. Get a glimpse of the stars and constellations that we can see in the Dunedin night sky, journey to other planets, and get a close up look at some breathtaking deep space objects.

This school holidays there are 30 free events for children at Otago Museum. There are the Makerspace crafting tables open all day with some wonderful Matariki-based art projects. There are science demonstrations that whizz, bang, and fizz; storytellers; gallery trails; star-gazing, and lots more. Come down and find something to keep little hands busy!
