If you want a break from the whole student “thing” and or the kids are cramping your style, then why not:
- Grab a tea and dumblings at the Dunedin Chinese Gardens
- Breakfast in the Octagon and visit the Dunedin Public Art Gallery
- Head out to one of the cafes at the Esplanade for breakfast, followed by a walk along St Clair beach
- Explore the Otago Peninsula and spot the wildlife from either on of the many public walks
- Check out the the art from local artists at the many galleries around Moray Place and Dowling Street
- Enjoy a meal or a drink at Luna and take in the views over the city and down the harbour
