Belle Bird Boutique is a Dunedin shopping favourite! Our 'lil shopping spot houses a select range of clothing, footwear and jewellery predominantly from New Zealand and Australia. Including; Lonely Hearts, Meadowlark, Deadly Ponies, Miss Crabb & Karen Walker. Belle Bird is an independent boutique established in 2003 by local designer Shelley Tiplady who is aided by a team of super friendly staff.

Dada Boutique

A visual feast of ‘Dadaism’ and fashioned combined, resides at the Dada Designer Boutique in the historic Moray Quarters of Dunedin.Upon entry, a Bavarian bear grimaces whilst thrusting forward a peace offering of silk gladioli, from high on the wall a richly painted Parisian carousel horse casts a lolling eye and a wall of Fornasetti’s etched faces gaze serenely but unflinchingly at a spot just above your head.


Design Withdrawals

Design Withdrawals has a relaxed environment allowing customers to browse and feel welcome. All New Zealand made Art, Design, Jewellery and Designer Clothing offering a gift for everyone.

Wendy Phizacklea, founder of Design Withdrawals, opened her first retail gallery in Palmerston as an outlet for her own designer clothing label, 'Phizacklea'. Her ambition was also to provide a beautiful space to support and exhibit New Zealand artists and designers.



A brand new concept store & gallery space, is the brainchild of a unique society of designers and makers, known as Dunedin Designed Inc.

The chic store is a retail space and gallery, dedicated to showcasing high-end Dunedin based designers, creators and makers from disciplines as varied as fashion, jewellery, bespoke perfumery, home decor & skincare.

Now located in the Octagon, the heart of Dunedin, you will find the retail showroom of Seriously Twisted. Slick Willy's

It was 1983 when the guy on the back of the Harley, the late Michael Collins, opened the doors to Slick Willy’s and introduced Dunedin to a neccesary alternative to the 80’s fashion crimes of department store’s. Now, Slick Willy’s stocks over 60 national and international brandsin their boutique store in the city of Dunedin
