Sample the delicious gourmet pizzas in this relaxed and quirky New York styled bar. At Filadelfio's Restaurant & Bar, located at the start of North East Valley, you can also enjoy the excellent wines and ales on offer. Filadelfio's aims to make anyone feel at home, from the quirky student population of down-south, to the warm family atmosphere. In true Kiwi entrepreneurial style, the founder of Filadelfio's set up the business in 1995 after enjoying this style of eatery on a trip to New York. Current owners Logan and Jo Beck have been enjoying the ever-growing business since 1998. (Franchises have been set up in Christchurch in 2002, Dunedin at the Terminus in May 2004, and Oamaru in July 2006.)
