Hi and welcome to the Customhouse. We are here to help you have a great time here in Dunedin. First and foremost we are a casual, contemporary, cafe, restaurant and bar situated right on the water at Customhouse Quay. Great waterfront location; heritage building, enhanced with a modern feel; fresh, local flavours that won't leave you hungry; and truly good service - knowledgeable about what we offer, and our place in Dunedin, friendly, flexible and authentic - end of story really. Our objective is that you make the Customhouse one of your favourite places - it's up to you to decide what for. It could be your favourite place to catch up for coffee with a friend; your favourite place for a great steak off the grill and a cracking Aussie Shiraz or an earthy Central Otago Pinot Noir; your favourite place for bacon and eggs at the weekend with the family while the kids fish off the Quay (we've got fishing lines they can use and if they catch it we'll cook it!); or your favourite place for a celebration, whether it is with family and friends, or with work colleagues.
