'Great food, beverage in a historic-themed atmosphere at an affordable price' is our point of difference, and we're only two minutes over the hill from the Octagon. Enjoy the Tramshed Bistro menu at Cableways, with its friendly English-style bar. The relaxed atmosphere features visual cablecar memorabilia, relating to the nearby site of the old steampowered wheelhouse that provided the power for cablecars to transport locals between Kaikorai & Roslyn in the late 1800s and early 1900s. Pride of place, is the 'No 93' tram out front, an original restored Roslyn cablecar, where the saloons either side can be enjoyed by our patrons for dining/drinking pleasure.

Dunedin is home to some of the rarest wildlife in the World!
If you're coming to Dunedin make sure you check out the Otago Peninsula.
s it possible that we are actually half way through May? It seems like just yesterday that we were surfing in boardies (well, some of us) and enjoying surf sessions that started at 8:30pm and finished well after 10pm
Built in 1871, Larnach Castle is New Zealand’s only castle and is quite rightly one of Dunedin’s and New Zealand’s most picturesque places to visit.
