Getting Here
Air New Zealand, Jetstar and Virgin all operate regular flights into Dunedin Airport which is just 25 minutes’ drive from the city centre. Shuttle services, taxis and rental cars are available from the airport and should be pre-booked to ensure availability on arrival.
Regional bus and shuttle services include Intercity, Atomic Shuttles, Catch-a-Bus and Naked Bus.
Dunedin city is a comfortable drive from other South Island destinations, just 3 ½ hours from Queenstown and 4 ½ hours from Christchurch so you can take in the gorgeous regional scenery en-route to Ed. Getting Around
Walking
Where you can, WALK! From the Octagon there are two main walking routes. Roads ARE NOT closed along the walking route so please stop at lights, wait for signals to cross and be very mindful of traffic.
Buskers will be stationed along the walking route to entertain you.
Public toilets are at the Railway Station and on Anzac Square, where food stalls will also be located.
Walking Routes
Down Stuart Street crossing SH1 to the Railway Station and then along Anzac Ave. There will be mobile food vendors stationed along the way as well as buskers.
Along George Street Down Albany Street to Anzac Ave.
Bus
The Regional Council and City Council have teamed up to help make it easy for you to use the bus to get around over Easter.
Buses will be running every day except Good Friday – with extra services until late.

Catch the Ed Train from Mosgiel!
The DCC in conjunction with Dunedin Railways and the Otago Regional Council is putting on a chartered train service between Mosgiel and Dunedin via Wingatui for all concert-goers based out on the Taieri Plains. Fantastic value for money at $10 return for adults and $5 for children and a thoroughly enjoyable way to get to and from the concert. Timings and booking details are below:

- If you are driving please use the following parking areas where possible.
- South/Peninsula
- Wharf area - approximately 1,300 on street parking, plus an additional 300+ parking spaces at the Thomas Burns and St Andrew Street car parks.
Easy access from the south of the city via Portsmouth Drive/Wharf Street. SAFE Pedestrian access DIRECT to stadium via the Wickliffe Street Walkway.

It may feel like back tracking, however it is a quicker, safer and more direct route as it takes you along Magnet Street and under SH88 direct to the stadium.

If you are parked close to the stadium please be patient as pedestrians, public transport, taxis, charter coaches and private vehicles will all be leaving the area at once. Be aware, especially of pedestrians and please follow any instructions given by volunteers, traffic management and police.
