Transformation for iconic building

Construction work on the former Dunedin North Post Office has transformed one of Dunedin’s most iconic buildings into a beautiful and enlivened space for the community, exhibitions and venue hire. The building, which has a Category 2 listing with the New Zealand Historic Places Trust has been under redevelopment since late last year and is soon to open as the renamed Otago Museum H D Skinner Annex.

To coincide with the official opening of the Town Hall , a group from Conference Innovators (Auckland & Christchurch office) were hosted to visit Dunedin’s sights and sounds. Hosted by Tourism Dunedin and Scenic Circle the team were totally spoiled from Scenic City Hotel’s comfy beds
to being hosted in their corporate box for an evening with Stephen Tyler and Aerosmith. The amazing Forsyth Barr stadium was just the space for this and the team were able to see the range Dunedin has to offer.
