Southern Clams is a thriving seafood fishery best known for its harvest of Littleneck Clams which are mistakenly known as cockles by many New Zealanders. The clams that flourish in Otago’s cool and pristine waters are harvested with ‘body dredges’ and end up in supermarkets and on plates in top restaurants around the world.
Southern Clams is completely committed to sustainable management and invests heavily in research. They monitor the welfare of the clams and their environment to ensure their health for future generations.
